wandsworth park new playground - does anyone think it is worse than before

i am a mum of a 20-month old and heavily dependent on the kids playground in wandsworth park. it has been closed for 2 months now for refurb and from what I can see looks worse than before - less play areas, ugly and unsafe fencing, etc

has nayone noticed the same or am I going out of my mind?

Haven't ventured to Wandsworth park yet but went to Leaders Gardens last week and wasn't overly impressed with what they've done there.

I was there yesterday, and a little girl was badly hurt, blood everywhere around her mouth, because she was hit by one of the bigger childrens' swings. I felt sick just seeing it happen and had to leave. It was a man pushing the swing, so he was doing it very fast and, of course, wasn't looking out for little ones.

Sorry, but somehow I think a mum would have stopped the swing in time before it almost cracked that poor toddlers head open. The swings are not sectioned off enough and the place is swimming with toddlers.

Don't think I can go back now..
