We are coming home to Glasgow after 6 years away - hoooooooray! v v v excited..

anyway, we'll be getting ds2 christened in June and are planning to have a bit of a knees-up afterwards as a kind of 'homecoming' celebration...any excuse for a party! I'm expecting we'll invite around 60-80 guests, so am looking for a venue which could provide catering too (including booze, obviously

For ds1 we had a party in the Pollokshields Burgh Hall which was great but had to organise caterers separately, and for dd we had it in Eastwood House which was not very good...

any ideas? we'll be having the christening in Giffnock so it needs to be somewhere not too far from there so it's easy for our guests to get to it.

TIA !

have you tried to carmichael hall at eastwood leisure centre or else there is a united reform church in Fenwick road which hires out a hall. (not sure of capacity)You would need to get caterers for these two as well though.

Where are you moving to?
