Anywhere know of a suitable venue for a 1st birthday party?

DS will be 1 at the end of March and we'd really like to have a little tea party for him and a few baby chums but sadly our flat is waaayyyy to small for this.

Anyone know of somewhere suitable that we could hire for a few hours one weekend day? I don't need fancy-pants party organisers or catering or anything (he's one, for heaven's sake!) just a space for some adults to watch the babes grub around and ignore one another wink

Have you thought of the Toy Library in Walthamstow village? I think you can hire tumble in the jungle on Wood St too but that might be a bit too big and ambitious for a first birthday!
I had the same dilemma and ended up using my mum's flat.
