Some exciting news for french-speaking parents (if you know a french speaking parent, please give him/her this information).
* First, the parent and child group "Eveil au Francais" is increasingly successful and now includes more and more 5 to 11 year olds - so not just a toddler group anymore !
The group currently meets twice a month around various activities (crafts, cooking, music, carnaval, walk, etc.) It's aimed at children who are spoken to in french by at least one parent. We meet in Bearwood, Smethwick, just west of Birmingham.

* Second, the creation of a french saturday school is in sight (again that's for children who learnt french from their family and need to work on their reading/writing skills in french). Many parents have registered their interest for such a scheme here:
