PREGNANCY/BIRTH.........Hi, My Name is Hannah and I am a Mum of 2 children (3 yrs and 15 months). I moved with my family in June from Edinburgh. I have recently started work as a doula (birth companion) and although I have completed a course, I am in the process of being assessed . I am also studying for a diploma with the NCT in antenatal education, this will qualify me as an NCT teacher. I have attended workshops on normal birth, abnormal birth and also the Home Birth Conference. I was inspired after a hospital birth with my first child that left me with questions over the necessity for so many interventions. I had a doula with my second baby and had a straightforward birth at home in water.
