Any mums fancy meeting up in central Oxford for a coffee in the New Year?

I live outside Oxford with my dh/dcs, am in my 30s and would like to meet up with mums for the occasional chat/coffee in central Oxford either with or without dcs. Mine are currently at school & pre-school so have a certain flexibility.

Hello - nice to meet some of you today! Would be really great to see you again so do let me know if you make any plans - though I'm now fed up and officially not booking anything myself until after this baby decides to make an appearance!

Ran - see you at Playhouse music on Monday, I bet I'm there but you might have to heave me out of one of the bean bags! As I mentioned it got really busy last week so best to get there early if you want to get in (there is a room with tea and coffee open from 10am anyway).

Hi Loosey, hope you're doing okay (must be happening now/soon?!). Didn't make Mon (well,obviously) and got something next week but hope to make one in Feb for a try out with my LO. Hopefully I'll see you with yr second at the class. All the best.

I've just had my first baby (23rd of January, a little girl) and would love to meet up in the next few weeks when I'm confident taking her out etc.

I've only been living in Oxford since October - I'm doing a PhD in London and hope to get back to that at some point in the not too distant future - I'd love to share lamentations with you, Skidaddle and Jazzicatz!

Well, my baby boy arrived on the 27th (Just 5 days late so not too bad after all my complaining!) - he is called Toby and looks just like DS1 did at that age which confuses my sleep deprived brain a lot!

I'd definately be keen to meet up again, and certainly will try and make the music class at the playhouse too in the next week or so - that is if the snow ever melts and I can work out how to get the blighters out of the house by myself!

Well, congratulations, Loosey! Lovely news (and lovely name by the way). Hope you're both doing okay and that ds1 is managing all right. Snowed in here too, both off school/nursery. Hope to make it into Ox soonish for the music class or maybe Rainbow House, probably be after half-term week now.

Hi there - I'm aiming to go to the music class next week (ingers crossed as I'm finding it hard to get out of the house on time due to last minute double nappy changes etc - sure many know the feeling) so maybe see you there?

Otherwise I am also hoping to be organised enough to go to Sparklers on Weds - and happy to meet people elsewhere as well if anyone is keen, let me know!

I haven't made it to music for ages either for a variety of reasons , mainly visitors, but will try next week! It is good, honest. Could meet up for coffee sometime in next 2 weeks anyway if you like? Let me know... anyone else?
