I use Headmasters for my son - about £15 which seems like a lot, but he was very good and gave him his first "proper" haircut. He cut my baby boys hair (well tried to) for nothing (well it did only take 5mins).

We use The Cutting Room on Chelverton Road -- again quite expensive but DS behaves beautifully for them and we're all used to each other (DH and I have been getting our hair cut there for aaaaaaaaages, long before we were even married).

great - thanks.

though would have prefered something cheaper but, hey, its putney we are talking about!

Think I've seen young children in the Crew barbers on Lower Richmond Road

We wandered into to:

The French Barber
26 Lacy Road
SW15 1DZ

which is in the shop that says Peppe the Barber and have been very happy with it.

My husband and son had their hair cut there and now I am also having mine cut there. The "French Barber" is a youngish guy who is hoping to take the shop over from Peppe and the two are sharing the shop at the moment during the transition.

He has various specials going to attract new business, for example, today I had my hair cut and my almost 2 year olds cut at the same time for 40 pounds. Similar for man/child are 30 pounds. Cuts for kids under 10 are 10 pounds.

I'm impressed with the quality and the cost is not too bad.

Oh, and he's [email protected] and 07717436923. And he's been lovely with my kids and didn't make a fuss when DS2 smashed a glass of OJ on the floor...
