My DS is in year 6 and is too old for the local "arts-fun" holiday club type activities and isn't into sport. He's very interested in science, natural history, chess, maths & etc. Does anyone know of a holiday club (i.e something that would double-up as childcare) that would suit? What do other people do for childcare in the holidays when their children are ages 10-14 if they go out to work? I'm in south Herts, Barnet borders.
