We've been in most of restaurants and cafes in Ealing, and none of them has been unfriendly, though it's a long time since we were breastfeeding! (IIRC have breastfed in Carluccio's, Cafe Rouge, and Fat Boy's and Bentall's cafe when it was there.) The only unfriendly cafe I've been to is Ragazzi in West Ealing.

never had a problem anywhere in ealing really. we've eaten (and breastfed!) in okawari (lovely japanese with good lunch deal on bond street), carluccios, cafe bellini, farm w5 quite often and it's been fine. also the sunday carvery at the new inn opposite tvu is very family friendly and i've happily breastfed there. the m&S cafe (2nd floor not downstairs) is pretty good too and has the advantage of being close to the baby changinng/feeding room on 1st floor which i use a lot with my DS.

in northfields, there are always loads of mums in skylight cafe (it's where the nct breastfeeding session is) and i've always felt welcome in cafe creperie cila (plus they do great crepes!) and papaya (sri lankan)
