It's my Nephews 2nd birthday on the 29th, DS is 2 on the 2nd and SIL is due again on the 1st! It's a race again

I am starting to get a little nervous about the homebirth now but I'm sure it will all be ok. I just keep thinking about getting into my own bed after and not going up to a busy hospital ward.

Don't worry about being nervous hun the MW's will be fab, in fact you'll probably recieve better care by having a home birth as the MW's will be with you all the time!!

I agree with MrsMagoo. Although, I imagine it is quite a scary prospect in the run up to 'B-Day', I reckon that once in labour you will appreciate being at home and not in a clinical environment. As for getting in your own bed...that sounds great! Also, the thought of home made food, your own quality tea or coffee in your own cup, home made and familiar toast...the list goes on.

Definitely agree with home birth sounding fab. I was all for it with DD2 - although the new cream carpet in the bedroom did prey on my mind quite a bit.

Unfortunately DD2 had other ideas about her entry to the world...
