Recommendations for children's hairdresser in Leeds?

Can anyone recommend a decent hairdressers in Leeds (north side would be best, but am prepared to travel) where they don't charge an arm and a leg to cut children's hair?

I recently took dd (7) for a cut and blow dry at my local village salon (Bramhope) and it cost me £21 ... ... I nearly fainted. I know, I know ... I should have asked before I booked it, but honestly, I never dreamt it would be that much.

i take dd to my own hairdresser (ilkley) where she charges me £10

my old salon also ilkley wanted full price for over 12's

Hair by Jane in Far Headingley (Weetwood Lane, near Bryan's chippy) charges £8 for a cut for 4-y-o DD - I don't know what she'd charge for cut and blow, though!

There is a new one in crossgates and if i am right they do first cut and blowdry for £5 its called func or funz will get name for you in a few mins

Take my boy to Strands in Horsforth - cost £6

I take my girls to cutting room in Chapel Allerton. Approx £11. They have a cool driving wheel seat to occupy them and send them away with a small packet of sweets (which you may not like...). Only down side - they like to dress it up with product

Sean's Barbers in Yeadon. About £6. The lads who cut their hair are absolutely fantastic with kids, brilliant senses of humour and kids love going.

I take my kids to Sherbet (street lane roundhay). great with them and reasonable. £8 for the weenie a bit more for the older ones. and i bought a tangle teaser for the weenie,a proper life saver,no more hair brushing battles .
