I really need a handyman to help put up shelves and do other jobs that dh and I can't do or haven't done. I always look in the Preston Pages etc but haven't ever seen a handy man advertise. We had a great man in London who was retired but liked keeping busy. I think he also felt a bit sorry for me because dh is not very practical and I am keen but a bit of a bodger and botcher.
I would also love to find someone who is able to make blinds - roller and roman. I would love to have a go but don't have a sewing machine and always tend to do a job a bit wrong despite my best intentions. Thanks everyone.
