Any up to date info on St Helier Maternity?

Hi,
I'm 16 weeks pregnant and looking into Maternity care at St Helier as it's looking likely that I'll be having baby there.
Obviously the press has lots of bad stories to tell... but does anyone have any good stories to share?

Also, any information on the parentcraft classes that they run would be useful too.

Many thanks,
Nikki

2ndbabyenroute if it helps at all, I had DD2 at St Helier last November, and it was FINE. There was one midwife on the postnatal ward who was a trifle patronising, but otherwise everyone was lovely. The way they arrange meals is strange - even if you've just had a c/s you're expected to walk to the other end of the ward with a tray but otherwise it's totally fine. Infinitely better than St George's, where I had DD1.

(It must have been ok - I'm contemplating #3!!! )

Good luck!
