There is a thread in meet-ups but have been asked to post here (by MNHQ no less!)

Suggested date/venue - Friday 8 August at St Werburghs City Farm. Any takers?

Me! Although am not sure about St Werburghs...because...this sounds awful but didn't you see the news a few weeks ago? Some care place lost a registered and mental sex offender that they had taken for a day trip to the farm??!!! Not the farms fault obviously but was still .....mind you, you could say that about any place couldn't you...still though...

RhinestoneCowgirl · 14/07/2008 22:33

Didn't hear about that... think the little ones would like the animals tho...

Off to bed now to rest my lardy belly delicate little bump

Babysitter / nanny available in Bristol have a nose around www.hayleyevans

Would I be allowed to join in this fun if my mindees want to take along or is it mums only?

LittleMyDancingForJoy · 21/07/2008 10:44

I'm afraid I've got my sister staying that week with her two kids, so we'll be at the zoo or at Blaise Castle or just collapsed in a heap while the three children dance on us in triumph!

Have a lovely time

NikkiHawkins84 · 21/07/2008 13:10

Can I come with my little monsters? They always like to get out and the my son loves animals!
Nikki x

navyeyelasH · 21/07/2008 13:53

10:30 is fine with me.
My son turned 2 last week and my daughter is 7 months.
Never been to St. Werburgh's so any change of scenery will be good.
Are we staying fo lunch? And if we are is there a café or should we have a picnic?
Nikki x

misspollysdolly · 27/07/2008 21:23

Never done a meet up before...is it open to anyone...?!

RhinestoneCowgirl · 28/07/2008 20:18

misspolly - yes meet-ups open to all How old is your DS/DD/combination thereof?

nikki - there is a cafe, haven't eaten there for yonks myself, but it is sposed to be nice. I have a just about to turn 2-yr old myself, plus bump due in December.

riven - FirstBus permitting I will be there at 10.30, promise!

OP posts:
misspollysdolly · 29/07/2008 20:11

I have 2 DSs aged 3 years and 6 months. Also have an 8 year old DD who may be with me - DH may be off work that day so might just bring the littlies.

Am tempted - though have never done the 'meeting up with virtual people in real, life' thing. Bit daunted!

However we only live in Easton so no excuse not to come really - might find I know you all already anyway! - that's the bizarre twist of online communities I guess...?!

RhinestoneCowgirl · 30/07/2008 19:14

Go on misspolly, you know you want to... We're all perfectly normal y'know, not one a hairy-handed trucker

OsmosisBanana · 31/07/2008 12:41

OsmosisBanana · 31/07/2008 12:41

Riven, there is usually on street parking near City Farm. It's a dead end around there anyway...

you can drive under tunnel. From organic supermarket, go left at the roundabout (cornershop on left that does keys). Past the industrial units on left....
