Experiences of local independent school nursery places for a three year old

We are moving to the area next month and I am looking for a nursery/kindergarten for my will be 3 year old to start from October. Since the waiting lists seem so long for the nurseries it looks like my best bet may be with one of the independent schools, such as BCS or Park School. We are moving to Branksome Park so location wise hoping to keep close to this area.
I've read some quite negative reviews on BCS but they are dated from several years ago, I would much appreciate any help from anyone with some first hand experience.

Castle Court has a lovely nursery - term time only

I haven’t heard good things about bcs and I hear park is lovely but don’t feel it’s good value for money.

I've heard lovely things about Yarrells, and Dumpton. But Dumpton may be too far for you. If you have a girl there is talbot Heath ? But I’m not too keen on all girls personally.
