Reliable cleaner locally: agency or independent recommendations and experiences?

Has anyone found a reliable cleaner recently? I keep hearing mixed things about agencies vs independent cleaners and would love to hear what's actually worked for people. Not looking to advertise anything just trying to make a decision myself

I would ask on a local Facebook group, if someone is good they'll possibly be recommended by more than one person. Seems pointless paying extra re agency fees.

That's actually a really good point about checking for repeat recommendations, I did try that route but ended up going with my cleanerHUB instead it matches you with vetted independent cleaners directly, so you skip the agency fees but still get someone properly checked rather than just hoping a Facebook recommendation works out. Worked well for me

There is little benefit to anyone recommending a genuinely good clearer, unless they are leaving the area.
