Step child missing out on playdates.

Hi all,

My step daughter is a lovely 7 year old little girl. We're located in didcot and have her with us 50% of the time.
She's very social, and although she has lots of friends at school, the school mums have a friendship with her mum and dont seem to want any play dates when she is with us.

She spends time with her cousins etc but we do feel guilty that she doesnt have friends in the area to play with in her time with us.

Could anyone recommend any classes at all that she may be able to attend every other week? Or any other mums in the area in a similar situation?

Thank you!

Could you not have her friends and playdates at your house. Seems you're waiting on the invites. Good luck

Can’t her dad ask speak to some of the parents at school and organise something?

This is such a thoughtful post and you are clearly wonderful parents for caring so much! Didcot has some great options for kids her age. Didcot Gymnastic Club runs sessions for her age group and is great for making new friends outside of school. Art and craft classes at local community centres are also brilliant for sociable kids she would thrive in that environment. Swimming lessons too are great for building friendships on a regular basis. Facebook groups like Didcot Mums or Didcot Community are also worth posting in lots of parents in similar situations who would love a playdate! Wishing her lots of lovely new friendships
