I’ve recently started a small local WhatsApp group for people in the Newcastle / NE postcode area, especially helpful for families and parents, to give away items they no longer need and help each other out locally.
The idea is just to create a friendly space where people can offer things like kids’ clothes, toys, baby items, household items, furniture, and anything else useful completely free rather than throwing them away.
The group is still quite new but it’s already starting to grow, and I’m hoping it will become a helpful little community where people can share things and support each other.
