Advice on beckenham/penge schools

Hi, I have recently moved to the Kent house area in between beckenham and penge. We are having some last minute indecision on our primary school choice and just wondering if anyone has any feedback on churchfields, alex infants or balgowan?

Balgowan seems to be the most highly rated but we are on the edge of the catchment and may need to drive there. Churchfields is closer and has nice green space but seems to have slightly worse ofsted surveys than the other two. We liked Alex infants but have a four year gap between our children so would have two drop offs for most of the time and they wouldn't get to go to school together.

Hi @Melcl1987 i live very close by a lot of my neighbours children go to Churchfields they all sing the praises of Churchfields very nurturing & lovely atmosphere very well regarded, Balgowan I believe has always had a good reputation but I don’t know any current parents, Alex infants again a couple of neighbours children attend & they are very happy there, slight inconvenient with the juniors being around the corner I suppose, probably boils down to where you feel would be the fit, good luck they are all excellent schools.

My DS went to Alex Infants and Juniors. Both were great. Tbh the infants and juniors in the area are all pretty good these days.
