What position did you come when you got your council property?

The houses I’ve been waiting for came up on the bidding last week (due to end Monday at midnight)
these houses are just across the road from where I currently live,and where my children go to school. My daughter is autistic with sensory processing and so this property would be perfect for her, same area and the only change would be the house.
I was number 1 but now have gone up to number 2 and I’m gutted.

I was wondering if anyone had any positive stories on situations like this?

Thanks for replying. Did the 5 before you decline the property or did it go straight to you? I’m a mum to 3 children, my middle one is autistic, sensory processing and ARFID, we were number 1 up until last night, I’m now number 2.
we live over the road from the house and her school is also where we currently live! So desperate for it to try and keep everything the same for her!
