Are Lodgers OK?

Senior here whose partner with Alzheimers is moving to care home. I'm going to be left alone in a large property. Should I consider taking in a lodger for company and financial help? Children say "No Way Dad"

@Lodgers I'm with your children. You don't know what sort of person you will end up with. Could you possibly move to a smaller more manageable place?
