Moving from Ireland to Thame in September (first baby due July 11th 2008)

Hi all,
We are currently living in Ireland and we are moving over to Thame in Sep. My partner is English and I am Irish. Our daughter will be 2 months at that stage so its a big move for me and I won't know anyone etc.....

Im 36 and keen to get to know other mums and do my best to get to know people in Thame etc...... any tips you might have for me would be great

I'm just outside of Thame, with first sprog due at the beginning of June. (And this is my first ever post to Mumsnet so I don't really know how it works, and I'm not logged on here very often, but any questions and I'll try to help!)

hi there cherry yellow - I havent checked the site since we got to Thame!!! so sorry for delay we arrived start of october in the end and baby is doing well but has been sick since middle of november (just as we got the house sorted) so its non stop - partner off for xmas so have had a bit of time although we spent all day yesterday in stoke mandeville with her poor thing - she has bad bronchiolits. email me again and would love to hook up if you fancy it.
