We’re moving to Hertfordshire as I’ll be working in Hatfield, and we’re looking for advice on where to rent for a year. We’re a family of four, with a son in Year 5, and we’re seeking a 3-bedroom house in a quiet, family-friendly area, ideally with a good primary school nearby.
We’ve looked at St Albans, but unfortunately, the rent is a bit too high for us. For now, secondary schools aren’t a priority since this will be a temporary rental, and we plan to buy a home in about a year, considering secondary schools at that point. We’re more focused on finding an affordable place to rent with a good primary school for the next year. Shops and restaurants aren’t as important for us, as it’s just a short-term plan.
Any recommendations on areas to look at would be greatly appreciated!
