Hi local mumsnetters - I am a SAHM who has moved back to Berko after living abroad for a year. My baby is 6mth old and I would love to meet for a coffee if you fancy it?

Hi - just checking in. I live in Apsley near HH. Am still working f/t at the moment but go on mat leave in 4 weeks with my first, so would be very up for meeting for coffee from 11 Apr onwards! Whereabouts have you been living?

Hi Casserole - I am in Berko.... how are you getting on with you pregnancy?

I am getting there... slowly! 33 and a bit weeks at the moment and ok apart from heartburn. Have a stinking cold this week which isn't helping anything though...

How are you finding being back in the UK? Were you in Berko before you moved abroad? And how's motherhood?

It's lovely being back - and yes, I was in Berko beforehand, so its lovely being back in familiar territory - although a little strange as I am now a SAHM..... Motherhood is fantastic - more than I could have imagined - much more fun than I every thought!

God.... isn't heartburn the worst!

I live in Berko and have recently packed in my job to be a stay at home mum so am keen to meet other mums for chat. I have Jasmine age 3 and Luke age 19 months. Some days think about having another, I so miss having a little baby and breastfeeding but then I think about terrible twos and am not so sure...

I'm a granny looking after 19 month old grandaughter 3 days a week. (loving it but knackered!) I was vaguely wondeirng whether it was worth trying to set up a "granny +toddler" group -to meet say once a week. (I know there are a lot of us around)
Not that the "mother + toddler" groups aren't great, just that the issues for grandparents (and the energy levels) are different, so be good to meet up with others in the same situation. Or maybe one already exists?
