Any ideas of baby-friendly places to eat in central Edinburgh?

I'm going to be meeting a friend next month in central Edinburgh - Hanover/Queen Street and wonder if any of you have some recommendations for a nice place to meet for lunch that's also baby-friendly? The only places I can think of are where I went pre-baby so I'm a bit stuck for ideas...

TIA

I was in Tempus (George St, but very near Hanover Street) recently and there were quite a few families with young kids so you could try there.

Urban Angel is on Hanover Street and nice for lunch - I would have thought that would be baby friendly. You could give them a call? I'd book a table though, it's quite popular.

Browns is def baby friendly as I've been with friends and babies although its maybe a bit far along.

Thanks bitofadramaqueen I'd forgotten about Urban Angel being there, might try there

Browns & Centrotre on George St both very child friendly. Zanzero in Stockbridge is supposed to be good too though I've not been.

thanks too liath, I'll check those places out too, I've been to Browns before but not the other two

Thanks rookiemater, and smurphyleith for remembering the name I went to Henderson's a while ago and it was good, only thing as far as I remember is that it's down steps to a basement? I'm still using pram for DS so think I might have problems getting it down

I second the portrait gallery cafe too, haven't been for ages but it is good.

Weeglenny - urban angel is downstairs too, but I think its only a few steps so should be manageable with a pram.

It's called Cafe Camino. Definitely less mad than John Lewis cafe can sometimes get!
