New French Speakers parents and toddlers group

Hello, Bonjour!

I am a french/english mum and was frankly despairing of my daughter learning french when I was the only one she would ever hear speaking it, so I have decided to stop moaning and do something about! I'm sure I cant be the only french speaking mum out here!!

So, as off the 1st of February I am now running a Parents and toddlers group for French speakers in Swindon. We meet every Friday from 1pm to 2.30pm at Robert le Kyng Children services, we have a fantastic room full of toys and crafts and Tea&Coffees for parents/guardians and we ask for just a £0.50 contribution per adult.

So if you are a french speaking parent/guardian and you too would like to practice your french and help your child hear others speaking french, then please come and join us!

That is a great idea elydoll! Have you had much interest? I lived in France for a while but find it difficult not to get rusty now. My children are too old to go this now, but would def have done so when they were toddlers. Hope it goes well.

Hi - just wondering is the French speaking club still going? I studied French and used it in my job before my little girl was born, but I would love to keep it up and would love her to learn it too - let me know - thx

Yep the group still meets every friday at Robert le Kyng, although we have now changed names to arc-en-ciel!
