Looking to buy a house in Borehamwood

Hi! We've found a house in Borehamwood but would love some honest advice about the area:

  1. is it good to bring up kids / young family (schools, stuff to do etc)

  2. people say Elstree and radlett are better areas. Is this true? If so, how so? Is Borehamwood "rough" or anything like that?

  3. I'm British Asian - is there a community of Indians in the area?
