Private schools for sporty S2 girl

My friend is exploring private school options for her S2 daughter for the next academic year. Would you recommend moving a child at this stage? What are your daughters experiences in a “girls only” schools? Her daughter is very sporty. Thanks for any experiences you can share.

We go to a private school and lots of girls transfer in near the end of the first year of secodary and at the start of the 2nd year. It's pretty normal I think as people get a feel for whether or not their first choice was right for them, or just move house.

Girls do tend to prefer single sex sport, so if it's a decent sized school and single sex, she'll have lots of opportunity to do her thing.

I would never hesitate to move a child who might be happier and more fulfilled elsewhere.
