Has anyone been to the nearly new sales at St Georges Hall, Park Road? Is it worth going?

I heard that there is one on this coming Saturday but wasn't sure whether it would be worth a trip up there or not? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers.

I heard about those and then forgot about them. I think what I heard suggested it might well be worth going along - someone mentioned it at Jolly Babies.

The next Haringey NCT one isn't until 1 March, but the NCT website advertises others. I went to one in West Hampstead and the 9-12 clothes rack was full of 6-9 months stuff mislabelled 6-12 months - mostly clearly by the same seller.

I'd be quite interested in trying out this one on Saturday if I can make it. I'll look in tomorrow evening and see what you're thinking, or contact me - my email is same as my username at yahoo dot co dot uk.

Just to add that the sale starts at 10.30 am. I'll talk to dp and suggest to him that we all go.

Think I will try and pop along. Speaking to someone earlier and they said people queue to get in, so if it is like a rugby scrum I'll probably end up running in the other direction though

These are always good!

I didn't spot PPC there but it may have been because I was late or because it was busy. Did see two people I know from Jolly Babies, and went to a group at a Children's Centre two days later and recognised the woman taking the group from the sale too!

I want to go to future ones but need to be better prepared, and hope that dp isn't working early shift the days they're on.

If PrioryParkChick or anyone else is interested in going to one of these, there's one coming up on Saturday 8 March. I'm planning to go with dp and baby in tow, and then we'll go for lunch afterwards somewhere in Crouch End.

There's also the Haringey NCT Nearly New Sale next Saturday, 1 March, at 10.30 am, at the Union Church on the corner of Weston Park and Ferme Park Road - the Stroud Green side of Crouch End as opposed to the Muswell Hill side of CE (where St George's Hall is). We're also going to go to that, if anyone fanices meeting up there and having coffee/food or a wander in the park (if the sun comes out to play again) aftwards.

Correction to my earlier post - the NCT sale on 1 March is actually 2 to 4 pm - I'll still go if anyone's interested in meeting up - before the sale might be better than after though.
