INFANT OBSERVATION OPPORTUNITY IN HOVE
Hello everyone, I live in Hove and am currently studying for a Masters in early childhood development at Birkbeck College. As part of this, I need to learn about the very beginnings of development and I'm hoping to find a family that would allow me to visit them and their newborn baby for one hour a week, for about 18 months. I don't expect the family to put themselves out for me in any way beyond deciding on a regular visiting hour - all I need is for the mother/primary carer to be at home, and doing more or less what they would be doing if I wasn't there! I have a DBS check in place. Infant observations like this are non-judgmental and unobtrusive; the purpose is just to learn about your baby’s development and interaction with the world in a normal home environment. I would hope that this could be a unique, supportive experience for all involved.
