Any parent opinions of Eden Park High?

Hello everyone,
We're entering the dreaded secondary school decision and while I will of course go round and visit all these places, I just wondered if there were any parents out there with kids at Eden Park High, and how they were getting on. Do you ever see what they're doing because it's all done at school with their extended day? Are there a good range of extra curricular activities? Have they made friends easily? Opinions and to comments gratefully received.

Appreciate parent opinions on Eden Park High vs Langley Boys? Considering these schools for DS. Thank you

I have friends with kids at both eden Park and Langley boys, both very happy so far. Furthest distance offered for both is vanishingly small though...

I know a few families with kids at Eden Park and they say behaviour is terrible and getting worse- physical fights are normal, disruptive behaviour in lessons preventing learning etc. None of the kids I know who go there (years 7, 9 and 11) are happy, they just tolerate it and keep their heads down to avoid bullying. I'd go Langley or Harris Beckenham if I were you

Thank you for your help. Eden park is on our doorstep. I doubt we would get into Langle boys even though it’s our preference

I would definitely choose Langley Boys over Eden Park. I’ve also heard that behaviour is awful at Eden Park.

Yes thanks for your opinions, much appreciated.

Hi Nikki did you go for EPH in the end? We chose Harris.

My son is in Year 7 at Eden Park High. We have really found the extended day a great option for him, as he is able to complete homework at school and then be free for when he comes home. The facilities are excellent, and teaching has been generally good so far. Recently they got a Good Report from OFSTED. It's a good choice, if you can get in due to the small(ish) catchment

Do not send your child here awful school my son was punched in the face bullied and the school did nothing about it for a week I had to keep ringing up and my son had a panic attack going in so now I have to home educate him . School do not sort out bullying they wouldn’t tell me what punishment the boy got.And it’s all kids out of the area attending that are causing these problems there coming from Sydenham and Bellingham you don’t see this going on at Langley because there not accepting these kids the school is a joke
