I'm bored and in need of friends

Well the title says it all - with the run up to Christmas I am starting to realise that I have no social life due to friends copulating or just being busy with their own plans and wanted to maybe meet up with some new people whether its just for a drink down the local, for nights out or just a dvd and takeout.

I hear you ilovemincepies. Decided to join mumsnet today because I thought it was about time I met some new people.

Well what can I say I am a 23 year old local nursery nurse who thoroughly enjoys her work - just not the pay!!

I love most things really from eaing out - Nando's, McDonalds, Chef Canton etc and so forth just not Sloppy Joes after an incident in September, I also enjoy having a drink in a quiet bar in town or partying the night away in bars like Edwards, Chicago's (I know!!) and the Wig and Pen.

As well as noisy nights out I also enjoy chilling at the cinema or the theatre, and watching a good drama - although I love comedy and a good action/thriller gets me going - not a horror fan though.

I also love a good day out whether it's to the zoo with friends, a trip to the pool with my friends eldest or just a wonder round a park or fairground by myself.

So tell me about you.
