Live music returns to Hertfordshire - and everyone's welcome

Hertfordshire Festival of Music 4-10 June

A feast of music featuring some of the UK's finest musicians, plus education and outreach projects, guided walks and talks, and events for children and families.

Some specific events for families:

Relaxed rehearsal - Saturday 5 June. A chance to see a real professional orchestra at work and learn more about the music, musicians and conductor.

Fairytale stories with Matthew Sharp - Saturday 5 June. A feast of fairytales and magical music with cellist/actor/singer Matthew Sharp

Guided walked around historic Hertford - Saturday 5 June, 2pm. Find out more about Hertford and meet some of the town's characters.

Hi @CrossEyedPianist - are you one of the organisers? We went a couple of years ago and it struck me that, while it’s a great idea, there’s nothing for older kids/people who aren’t music aficionados. I’m sure it could get a much wider audience than it does....
