Moving to Durham area

Hi I need to find a housing association property between Durham and billingham with good local transport to get to Newcastle for the college any ideas please, somewhere nice please

Billingham - you mean in Middlesbrough? That would be decidedly awkward to get to Newcastle for college. Is it where someone's job is? If so then at least one of you is likely to need a car.

How long is the college course, and where would the person doing it be looking for jobs/next steps afterwards?

Living in Durham and college in Newcastle doesn't sound like an option I'd specifically choose, I must say - it's feasible (private school kids do the journey daily) but I'd seriously consider being within the Metro area instead unless that would make things difficult for everyone else.
