I have been looking to buy a house in sg4 9 postcode for some time now but have not had much luck as competition is so competitive. I have seen a lovely house on kings road with an SG5 1 postcode and was wondering if kids around that area go to HGS as I would really like my daughter to go there for secondary. She is only 2.5 yrs old at the moment so I also need to think about primaries. The closest primary is St. Andrews but it’s very unlikely daughter will get in as we are not religious and it’s still a good 0.4 miles away. So next nearest school is strathmore and wilshere dacre. What are these schools like? As the ofsted report says its good however it’s under average on maths and writing. Reading is average.
Also what is kings road like. It doesn’t strike me as a family friendly kind of area as it’s so close to the busy nightingale road?
