Thinking of moving the family to Enfield? Where's good (and not too pricey)

Hi everyone,

New mum here! I'm a North London girl, who loves living in N11. However, we are in a 2 bed flat at the mo and we need space to expand. Enfield has some lovely places it seems but it's hard to work out the up and coming and not too expensive areas. Looking at EN1 and EN2 - have spotted some 2-bed terraces - budget is 450k. Any pointers on where to consider/avoid?

Thanks all. Really appreciate your comments - a friend also said to stay east of Enfield Town, but not sure if I need to be that targeted. For now my hierarchy I reckon will be to look at EN2 then EN1
If anyone knows what the buses are like and local train stations I’d be very grateful for your insights
