We are considering offering on a house in Southwater, Horsham. We've visited the area quite a few times but wanted to ask a couple of questions to anyone who has lived/is living there. The house is in the Broadacres development - anyone live in or around there? If so, what has been your experience? We just loved it but want to hear from someone else.
We're a small family of 3 - DS is 13 months old and hoping to have a few more babies in the future. We're moving out of Putney, London and wanted a bigger house with some outside space and a good commute to Victoria (2 days a week).
We found the perfect house in Southwater and are really keen. It's a lovely village and we just love Horsham.
We are just trying to find out how the general vibe is of the area.
We aren't originally from the UK, although both grew up here and are British. I won't lie I do have concerns moving out of London that people may not be as welcoming? I've lived in suburban areas in Scotland and in the North growing up and whilst some have been amazing, others people have pelted my parents house with snowballs with rocks in them. I'm not assuming ANYTHING about the area or residents, just an important point to know and finding it difficult to get anything online.
