Hello, my teeth are falling to pieces after my last baby and several years of not being able to find time or money and a rubbisb dentists that cost me a tooth and has really put me off. I'm in east cheshire but happy to drive to a good one in manchester/stockport/south or west cheshire if necessary. I'm in a position to comfortably sort out my teeth now but I want to feel confident of really good results for the cost. I'm looking for a dentist, private or a mix of private and nhs (it would be great but not essential if they cover children on the nhs). I'm really keen on recommendations of a dentist who does excellent root canal work as some are not so skilled at this and the longevity of the tooth etc depends on the dentists technical skills in endodontics I believe. I'd prefer if they are fairly modern and up to date with new technology. My teeth are rubbish and I seem to need a root canal every few years even with regular check ups and I need one now probably due to sensitivty and tooth ache. Also fillings that don't leak and turn into root canals would be good! I also want a dentist that tries to save the tooth at all costs, and doesn't try to over sell me work I don't need or any other kind of cowboy dentist (this is why I don't want to just want to walk in somewhere and hope). And a dentist who does aesthetically pleasing crowns that fit well (have had a couple fitted at my previous dentist, too big, poor fit etc.) As I will need one over my damaged tooth and I need a cracked one replacing. I may also need to have a wisdom tooth safely removed so that factors into the skills available at the surgery. Also my dd (11) may need a filling as one of her teeth has a dark patch so I'm hoping to find a dentist who doesn't mind working with younger patients, no referrals that take 6 months to community dentists!! Thanks for your help!
