Hi all, Dh and I try and get out for a meal every month (last time was May!!!!) but we are looking for good places to go. I noticed that the local listings do not seem to have many eating locations. Anyone got any good recommendations and can you add them to the map. Cheers

Another fun one is Willows wine bar and restaurant on Oxford St, really strange place, gives me an 1890s Parisian feel for some reason. Food not adventurous but you can play board games and hang out all night peoplewatching. Good for pre/post cinema as it's walking distance from Ocean Village.

Hi I'm new here too.

Funnily enough I went to Ceno's yesterday for my brothers' birthday and it was lovely. Haven't sampled the food but they are always there and say it's great.

I love The Olive Tree in Oxford St... and Dock Gate 4 now does a superb menu at half the price it used to be.

Over in Hythe, La Vista is good, on the marina. And Aroma (take your own wine and beer) is great too.

I love eating out.

Here's a very secretive one I fancy trying, did you know there's a floating restaurant in Bursledon? Think summer is probably the best time as you can sit on deck and see the lights on the water.

La Cantina does gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and quite reasonably priced!!

Went to Radleys in Oxford street the other day in the evening. the food was very good but the place was deserted! Other places in the street were serving a reasonable number of people so it is not the economic slow down. It really put me off going again even though the food was good.
