Football teams for 10yr old near Effingham/Leatherhead/Bookham

We've just moved to Effingham from Chicago and we are looking for a good football club for my 10yr old (2009).
He played at a pretty decent level in the USA and there are so many local clubs here (as you would expect) it is hard to know which are the more serious clubs vs local have fun teams. I would really appreciate any guidance on which teams to look at.

I would suggest going on a local Facebook page and asking for recommendations there.
My local fb page is full of this kind of query and you'll probably get more local knowledge.
