Car Free Day is Sunday 22 September and residents of Greenwich are being encouraged to take part by transforming their streets into temporary play zones. It is free to close your street on the day and London Play is offering help and guidance (and free spacehoppers!) for participating streets. Deadline is on or around 09 August and there is a bit of consulting with your neighbours to do before that so now is a good time to get started.
