Would anyone like to meet up in Ravenscourt Park sometime?

The Tea House in Ravenscourt Park is a lovely place to meet, it's great for babies, toddlers and older children. If anyone's interested in meeting there for a cup of tea (and maybe a cake!), let me know!

Sometimes it's just nice to have a reason to get out of the house and down to the park, even if it's just for a bit of small talk with some other mums. Hope to hear from some of you...?

Xx

Hi Indiemummy, Bigmouse and I are meeting up tomorrow at 10.30am for a walk at Brook Green. Come along if you're free. She has a red pram, I have a sandy colour one

Hi, AEHEEJL, just got this message a bit too late! Hope you had a great walk. How old are your babies? See you around! xx

Hi Ladies,

I will definitely be up for get togethers as soon as we get past this newborn stuff...

Will check back when I can.

Indiemummy, thanks for taking the lead on putting a group together for our area!

Hi indiemummy and divaskychick,

DS Harry is 10 mths. We had a nice coffee at Brook Green on Thursday. Weather wasn't too favourable for a walk. Congratulations on your new bub divaskychick. How 'new'??

indiemummy · 28/07/2007 11:03

Where do you go for coffee round Brook Green? I know there's the Olive Bar Deli and Cafe Rouge on Shepherds Bush Road...

Ivy is nearly 8 months.

Congratulations Divaskychick! The newborn stuff is tough, isn't it? Lovely, but tough! It all goes so quickly though and then you're onto the next phase! xx

We met for coffee at the Brook Green Hotel (much nicer inside than out!) but weather permitting a take away coffee and a play in the playground would be better for Harry next time given his lively disposition and need to wander around

Congrats divaskychick - I'm envious

Hi all,
I'm a bit slow, I've just found the local sites section.

I live in Fulham and am looking for any excuse to get out of the house with dd (9 months). I just need to figure out how to get there!

Mellin · 02/08/2007 15:00

I found Ravenscourt Park! It's a short bus ride for me so definitely doable for a meet-up.

indiemummy · 05/08/2007 16:28

Wow, Harry is 10 months and already walking??

That's why I thought the tea house at ravenscourt park would be good. The children can crawl / wander / rampage about safely! Nothing worse than being in a confined space and trying to have a conversation and having to break off to scoop up escaping toddlers...

Always thought the brook green hotel was just a smoky pub - well I know pubs are not smoky any more! - I went past on the bus the other day and it looked quite nice inside. Must try it sometime!

OK, I'll see what the weather's meant to be doing and suggest some dates.

Indiemummy x

Sounds good. We would be keen for a coffee and a play. Harry's 'walking' is a bit hit and miss at the moment but he's getting there.

Gosh, I am really thick. I just found this...just shows I don't scroll down often enough. I'd be up for your next meet up, whenever that is. I live on the Hammersmith/Chiswick border, and Ravenscourt park is about a 10 minute walk.

LouW · 26/02/2008 10:47

I have a 15 month old girl and keen to meet for coffee/park. I live in Chsiwick about 15mins from Ravenscourt park so let me know if your meeting up

My babes are big things at school now but as a local mum would love to recommend the childsplay cafe to you all. spent many happy hours there. they make great cappuccinos and smoothies as well as healthy and yummy food for the little ones.

four rooms of indoor play, painting, dressing up etc and lots of seating for the mammas.

well worth a visit, fun for mammas and little ones.
