Moving to Ledbury/Malvern - what's it like for 18 year olds?

Hi, my wife and I are considering moving to Ledbury or Malvern. We have a 7 year old daughter and I am trying to ascertain what night life may be like for her when she's 18 and looking to have fun nights out. Looks like the trains and buses from Hereford and Worcester stop early so an occasional fun night out in one of those cities is very difficult. Has anyone got an opinion on how Ledbury/Malvern are for 18 years olds? Thanks for any help here. Paul.

Between the two, I'd say there was more to do in Malvern for 18 year olds than Ledbury. A taxi between 4 friends wouldn't be awful from Worcester to Malvern though - I live in a smaller town much the same distance from Worcester and thats what 18+ do to go clubbing.

You also have Cheltenham fairly close to Malvern which is good for a night out too. I prefer Malvern to Ledbury.

There is less crime in Ledbury than in Malvern, though.

Malvern has a good train service from Worcester, and also into Birmingham. Useful for shopping trips but obviously not much good if she’s been clubbing!
I don’t know Ledbury but Malvern has the Hills of course, and lots of nice pubs, restaurants, tearooms and individual shops. And is handy for the motorway.
