Can anyone recommend a local cab company for my DD?

My DD is a student at Oxford Brookes and I'm trying to get her to come home from clubbing in the city centre by cab rather than walking late at night. Can anyone who knows the area recommend a cab company she'd be safe with as a 20 year old on her own after a night out? TIA!

It might be worth your dd asking at the Uni information point if they have a taxi company they recommend. At my Uni - Huddersfield, we have one particular company that even if you have no money left at the end of the night, the arrangement is that you hand over your student ID card to the driver and then arrange payment next day. That way you can always get home. I think it may be the Student Union who have instigated it.

I was going to say ask the uni. My DDs one has a scheme where the taxi firm will always take you home without immediate payment, and arrange payment the next day.
