Is Crosby/Waterloo a nice place for a family?

Hello to everyone one as the title say. We are looking for a property to rent in Liverpool and we are quite flexible about the area. At the beginning we considered just south Liverpool area as Mossley Hill, childwall, Aigburth but we saw a beautiful house in Crosby and Waterloo un according with our budget which is around £650/700 pcm. We have to consider also the school as we have a daughter in a school she.
So, what do you think about this area?

I'm from Liverpool, Crosby is absolutely lovely! A little bit further out from the centre but there's trains every 15 minutes there so you're not too put out I'm not too familiar with many schools there, but the area itself is fab!

The distance with city centre is the same from Crosby and Mossley hill.
I would like and area with Park and a lot of green as we love to spend time in the parks
