Help! Moving to the area - advice on grammar, Senior and sixth form!

Hi, I am moving with my family to maybe West Didsbury, Chorlton, the Heatons ....

Both my children are at grammar school in Gloucestershire. One will be entering her sixth form year and one into Year 10. I don't know where to start the schools but I assume i would need to live in the catchment and would like a good school for the kids.

West Dids ideal or maybe Hearon Moor, Chorlton.

Please can someone help!!

The closest grammar area is Trafford. Altrincham Grammar and Sale Grammar are both very good (Altrincham Grammar for girls is one of the best in the country). Altrincham is a great place to live too. Hopefully someone else will come along with info on didsbury schools.

There aren't any grammars in didsbury or chorlton. Parrs Wood High School in East Didsbury is OK, I think.
There is a brand new school opening in West Didsbury next year. Probably an academy. Most are academies or RC schools or both.
