Advise on where to live?..Thinking of moving to Pulborough area

Can anyone advise? My family and I would like to move to West Sussex. I have to commute 3 days to London, so I am trying to keep the train time to 75 mins or less with a 10 min or less drive to the station. I don't have a clue where in West Sussex! We are looking at a house in just north of Pulborough tomorrow. Is Pulborough good for families?? I hear Storrington is great, but a little too far for my commute. Priorities are good states schools - preferably outstanding where possible, (My girls are 7 & 8 yrs old), no air traffic noise,( I live under the flight path now and can't wait to move from it!), some privacy around us, we don't really want to live in a town, rather a big village or a hamlet outside of a town/big village. Would love some advice if anyone can help. Thank you.

Hi, I think I am in a very similar situation now. Can I please ask where have you decided to move in the end? We are considering the village of Ashington and Watersfield near Pulbrough. Thanks
