Which street would you live in? Any knowledge of these areas welcome

Hi Birmingham mumsnetters? Im torn between moving to Birmingham and Derby where i have family. My house completes in one month so ive got to get a move on, will be with family so will be chain free.

However in Birmingham, do you have any knowledge about the following streets, im coming this week to view houses in Cromwell Lane, Northfield and Gleneagles Road and Partridge Road in Yardley.

Im looking for a doer upper and im not tied to school catchments.

Hope my reply is not too late. A friend from work has just moved out of partridge road and spent 20 years there. Was happy there with no issues. I don't know the other roads and my only knowledge of Derby is that my daughter went to uni there and was very happy there.
