Hello,
My brother and his wife are returning from the to the U.K. from the U.A.E. with their two young children. They will be living in Leigh-on-sea, they are interested in both these independent schools above, currently Alleyn court seems to have the edge.Their catchment school will be Westleigh which seems to have a good reputation, are either of these schools worth giving up a place at Westleigh for ? Any comments good or not so good would be really helpful.
Thank you.

I live in LOS. WL has a fantastic reputation with a high % passing the 11+. I know a few parents who had places at St M’s as their Plan B if their child didn’t get allocated WL. Need to be careful on cachement area with WL, last year 28 kids in cachement didn’t get in - high birth year.

They would need to speak to admissions to see if they would even get a place at WestLeigh.
