We've been asked to attend in person and/or submit a report - based on your comments - to Merton Council's Sustainable Communities Overview and Scrutiny Panel meeting on October 2017. They are meeting due to the decision taken by the Cabinet Member on 11 August 2017 (regarding proposals to improve parking facilities in selected borough parks) being 'called-in'.
Further info on decisions made vis a vis selected borough parks (Wimbledon Park, Haydon's Road Recreation Ground, Abbey Road Recreation Ground and Tamworth Recreation Ground) is detailed here and ostensibly relates to actions to ensure that available parking spaces can be more easily/usefully accessed by visitors, including families, who use the parks than is currently the situation.
